Cliffe Christian Mission (CCM) is a rural, evangelical church based in Cliffe, north Kent.

As a church we are affiliated to the FIEC a group of independent evangelical churches from across the United Kingdom.

Cliffe Christian Mission...or...The Mish...or...The Old Tin Hut...A Potted History (this article first appeared in the November 2004 issue of Peninsula Times)

Land bought and tin hut built1890's:closed Aug1974:re-opened Feb 1976 THEN:-

Faulty Electrics put right:Faulty hearts put right.

Broken plumbing repaired: Broken marriages repaired.    

Broken Windows replaced: Clearer vision.

Building cleaned up: Baptistry fitted: Lives cleaned up.     

Welcome all: Young and old: Short and tall: Slim and not so.

Children: Young People: Grown-ups: Families: Seniors.    

New births....physical: New births....spiritual: Much celebration here and up there!

No collections: Purchase land

No collections: New Extension

No collections: New Storeroom

Music: Hands clapping: Feet tapping: Hearts singing.

Music: Kazoos: Tambourines: Guitars: Drums.  

Closed eyes opened: Closed hearts opened. 

Hands raised: Hands clasped: Hands open.

People joining: People leaving.

Weddings joining: Funerals leaving.

Tears:...of joy....of hurt....of sympathy....of laughter.

Good times: Hard times: Happy times: Sad times. 

Change anything?    Change nothing!!

Friendships closer: Friendships deeper: Friendships precious.

Together through it all....with one another....with Jesus.

Through it all: Jesus: Saviour: Companion: Friend: Closer than a brother.

The cross....where it started for each one of us.

The Tomb: the dead body.... the Rolling Stone: the live body....just like us!

Still going strong in 2008.

Seen it all: Wouldn't change a thing
